Mr. MacInnes brings over 20 years of diverse litigation and transactional experience to Clemens | Warren, LLP. Mr. MacInnes’ experience includes litigation in both Federal and State Courts, including arguing cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, and numerous cases before the United States Department of Labor (Administrative Law Judges) and the California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Mr. MacInnes’ unique experiences in the legal field, both inside and outside of family law, make him a diverse and knowledgeable litigator.
Mr. MacInnes believes in working collaboratively with his clients to achieve the best result for their specific situation. Mr. MacInnes works to obtain the desired result by being both a counselor and advocate to his clients. Family law cases frequently require a knowledge base that expands beyond the regular family law matters, and Mr. MacInnes has that in spades making him a wonderful addition to the Clemens | Warren, LLP team.
On a personal level, Mr. MacInnes loves spending time with my wife and two kids. He has enjoyed the opportunity to coach Little League Baseball, Youth Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football.
Mr. MacInnes has been a practicing attorney for more than 20 years. His experience spans from operating his own law firm to working in high level boutique law firms. Mr. MacInnes began his family law career while in law school with the San Diego County Family Law Facilitator. Following law school, Mr. MacInnes worked in the San Francisco Bay Area where he focused on the litigation of family law matters involving Silicon Valley executives as well as Venture Capitalists. In 2007, Mr. MacInnes relocated to San Diego where he joined this firms founding Partner Tamatha Clemens at the one of the top family law firms in the state, The Law Offices of Sandra Joan Morris. While working under Ms. Morris, Mr. MacInnes obtained invaluable experience in a wide range of family law issues and in particular cases involving high net worth individuals. Over the past ten years, Mr. MacInnes has litigated a wide variety of cases including family law, personal injury, estate planning and probate, as well as cases arising under the War Hazards Act. Mr. MacInnes is excited to join the Clemens | Warren, LLP team with the opportunity to focus solely on family law matters.
